Hi!  I’m Sarah Garza, one of the new additions to the staff at FUMC Hurst.   I am a native of Fort Worth and a TCU Alum (Go Frogs!).  I grew up at University UMC and was blessed to serve there the past 3 ½ years as Director of Student Ministries.  In my ministry at UUMC and now here at FUMC Hurst I am thankful for the support and encouragement of my husband Robert who you may also see around.  (We’ll soon be celebrating 2 years of marriage!)

My last year as a Master of Divinity student at Perkins School of Theology is being spent here as a ministry intern where my focus will be on the 6:19 Young Adult Ministries and Discipleship ministries.  If these are areas you have thoughts or questions about I invite you to seek me out!   I look forward to being a part of the life and ministry here!
