Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. I’m thankful today for my family, good friends, and the church I get to serve. On this day, the first day of my 53rd year on the planet, I recommit myself to not just praying for God’s kingdom to come here on earth as it is in heaven but to doing all I can to help make that a reality. I know that the problems seem really, really big. They are. I know that I am a small fish in a really big ocean. That’s true. But, I also know that every reference Jesus made to the kingdom of God taking hold here on earth started small. That’s why the son of God was born in Bethlehem and not in Rome. So…I’m all in. How about you?
